Tameside Cared-for Children’s Christmas Parties

Date Released - 14/12/2022

Cared-for children in Tameside and their foster families got into the Christmas Spirit this week with bowling parties held in Denton on 12th and 13th December.

All foster families and cared-for children in the borough were invited to join an evening of festive fun; with bowling, food and a special appearance from Santa himself.

Local Councillors and Children’s services members came along to join in the fun, showing their support for Tameside’s cared for children and the brilliant work of its foster carers.

Councillor Bill Fairfoull, Deputy Executive Leader with responsibility for Children and Families, said: “It is great to see so many of our Foster Families and Cared-for children come together to celebrate Christmas. Foster Carers play such an important role in our community each and every day and I would like to thank them for everything they do”.
